Tagline

Hope is at the heart of every journey

The adoption lawyer in the scene where Jimmy and Susan meet their new baby is the real David Colton, who is a lawyer in real life.

While young Brian and young Melissa are having a discussion, Brian is wearing a Jay Austin Motors shirt. Jay Austin Motors is the dealership in Flywheel, the first Kendrick Brothers film.

When Jimmy (Kirk Cameron) walks into David's bedroom you can see a poster on the wall just inside the door advertising a wrestling event. The party days the event is promoted by the Kendrick Brothers, who of course, are the producers of the movie.

Around the campfire David says that Melissa doesn't like social media. Jimmy (Kirk Cameron) smirks and says "I don't care for it much myself." In 2018 Kirk Cameron produced Connect, a documentary about the damage done by social media.

Miscellaneous

In a flashback to the 1990s, Brian, who lives in Columbus, Indiana, is wearing a Jay Austin Motors shirt. Jay Austin Motors is the car dealership in Flywheel (2003).
