Tagline

Terrorism just met its worst enemy.

Originally sub-titled Ground Zero but was changed after the 9/11 attacks. However the TV channel "Universal" still uses Ground Zero as the subtitle.

Dylan Neal, who starred as Sergeant Deke Slater in the first "The President?s Man", was also supposed to work on a sequel, but ultimately another actor (Judson Mills) was given the role because Neal's agent asked for a bigger salary.

Like the original "President's Man", this movie draws considerable inspiration from the book series "Remo Williams: the Destroyer", which was created by Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir. The novels and the film both deal with a hotheaded "diamond-in-the-rough" (Deke Slater was Special Forces, while RW was a cop) who is covertly sprung from prison to be trained as "The Hand of God"...an invincible dispenser of justice whose very existence, as well as his identity, are known to a select few. Thus Deke Slater is essentially Remo Williams with two Chiuns (the McCords).
