Plot Synopsis

Five years after the events of the Babylon 5 series, a technomage named Galen predicts an imminent attack by the Drakh, the old allies of the Shadows. Through dreams, a thief, a captain, and a president are brought together to head them off. The president is John Sheridan. Because of his irrational behavior, Sheridan's friends begin to wonder about his sanity. It's up to all of them and two prototype battlecruisers, the Excalibur and the Victory, to stop the fleet and their planet-killer. But is there more to the Drakh's plan?

Quotes

Galen: No, not a dream, a nightmare. And if sometimes dreams come true, what of our nightmares?

Filming Locations

Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California, USA
(Studio)

According to Babylon 5 canon, the original Drakh plan had been to use the Death Cloud on Earth, and then use the plague on Minbar. However, when the Death Cloud was destroyed, the plague was the only significant weapon they had left.

The film takes place from December 17 to December 30, 2266.

In the original storyline, there was a subplot in which Drake plans to marry the love of his life are thwarted when someone else proposes to the woman first.

During the evacuation from the planet-killer, a Warlock destroyer can be briefly seen.

Continuity

The ship's badge of the EAS Charon is clearly seen in the background of a few scenes, which displays a "K" (it's model series letter). In addition, an identical "K" upper left arm patch can be seen on several crew members uniforms, but when the Charon is seen crossing the screen in one scene, her model series letter clearly displays a "C" on the forward hull.

Revealing mistakes

When Dureena hits the Thieves Guild member and he falls backwards over a section of pipe, you can see it bend when he hits it, revealing it to be a rubber prop painted to look like metal.
